TOUR DESCRIPTION

Take a half-day guided tour of the Ethekwini municipality and Durban's picturesque surroundings. A professional and informed local guide will take you to see a range of sites that showcase Durban's rich cultural heritage.

You will have time to browse at Victoria Street Market for items such as apparel, souvenirs, paintings, bags, and accessories with African inspirations. Your guide will take you on an educational tour of "Inyanga (Doctors) lane" at the Zulu Medicine Market, which is located next to Victoria Street Market. The Zulu Medicine Market is a special location where the Zulu culture has managed to endure in the contemporary metropolitan setting.

One of the most distinctive aspects of the Durban skyline is the Moses Mabhida stadium. On top of its arch is a high-rise platform that may be reached for an extra charge via an elevator known as the Sky Car. Along with giving you a tour of the stadium's exterior, your tour guide will discuss the stadium's significance, history, and uses. If you would like, you will have time to visit the sky platform.

The tour includes a visit to the stunning Botanical Gardens, which was established in 1849 and is the oldest botanical garden in Africa. You will have the opportunity to spend additional time exploring the gardens on your own after your guide highlights some of its intriguing and lovely features.

The KwaMuhle Museum was formerly the hub of Durban's strict labor control system and the home of the department of Native Administration. It is now the Durban Apartheid Museum, which aims to capture both the city's past and its urban development. Additionally, it has an extremely fascinating HIV/AIDS display that informs visitors about the state of HIV/AIDS in South Africa.

The journey also includes a few short stops, such as the harbor and city hall in Durban.
